“Bank Inspector Frauds”

Police received two complaints of Frauds that occurred on August 31st and November 4th, 2016. The culprit will identify themselves as a bank inspector, investigator or bank official and will advise a person that they suspect a bank teller of theft. They ask the victim to withdraw cash from a teller at their bank. The bank inspector then arranges to meet the victim and asks the victim to turn over the cash as it is evidence required for their investigation. Two different males were described, the first as having a big head with a red face and possibly British. The second male was described as white, approximately  5’3”, clean shaven, 40’s-50’s, no accent, driving a newer model Red SUV.
