CRIME STOPPERS WANTED” for: July 28,  2017

The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating this person who is:

“WANTED BY POLICE”

                                                Cory Wayne CAMPBELL ( 34 years of age )

                                                – Assault With A Weapon

                                                – Uttering Threats

                                                – Forcible Confinement

                                                – Fail to Attend Court

 On March 3 2017, Police received a call from a female reporting that she had been threatened by her common-law boyfriend. The investigation revealed a history of Domestic Abuse which began in January of 2017. The abuse consisted of the suspect, Cory Wayne Campbell throwing a vase at the victim striking her in the leg, throwing a knife and nearly missing the victim and striking the victim with a cell phone cord across the leg. It is further alleged that during this time period, the suspect confined the victim to their shared residence by creating a barrier that the suspect was not capable of removing and only allowing the victim to leave when accompanied by the suspect.

On March 10 2017, Police arrested the suspect for Assault with a Weapon X3, Uttering Threats to Cause Death and Forcible Confinement. The suspect was later released on a Recognizance with numerous conditions and scheduled to appear in Court on May 8 2017. Cory Wayne CAMPBELL failed to attend Court as directed and a Warrant was issued for his Arrest.

Attempts have been made by Police to locate Cory Wayne CAMPBELL which to date have met with negative results.
