On August 30, 2019, members of the BRandon Police Service conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle in the 400 block of 12th street in which LACHAPELLE was found to be operating. Upon conducting a search of the vehicle, a large amount of methamphetamine, forged banking documents, an imitation handgun and a billy club were located inside. LACHAPPELLE was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center to appear before the courts on these charges.
