The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating this person who is:

“WANTED BY POLICE”

Helaina Kelly BLACKSMITH (19 years old )

FOR

– Possess a Prohibited Firearm With Ammunition

 – Unsafe Storage of a Firearm

    – Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Firearms

– Breach of Recognizance

On June 13, 2019, members of the Brandon Police Service executed a search warrant at BLACKSMITH’s residence in the 3500 block of Willowdale Crescent. During the course of the search, a loaded sawed-off rifle with ammunition was located, stored in an unsafe manner. BLACKSMITH did not possess a license to have in her possession firearms and was charged accordingly. To date, BLACKSMITH has failed to attend court to appear on these charges and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.

Attempts have been made by Police to locate the suspect which have been met with negative results.
