The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating this person who is:

“WANTED BY POLICE”

 Chad Robert WOODS  ( 25 years of age )

– Assault

 – Fail to Comply with Probation Order

– Fail to Appear in Court

It is alleged that on December 11 2017, that Chad Robert WOODS was involved in a physical confrontation with a female. Investigation into this matter revealed that the suspect assaulted the female by putting his hands around her neck and squeezing tightly to the point that the female could not breathe. Other individuals eventually intervened and stopped the assault from continuing. The victim sustained a scratch across her neck because of this assault. Chad Robert WOODS was arrested for Assault and released to attend Court on January 8th 2018 to face this charge. The suspect failed to appear in Court as required and a Warrant of Arrest has been issued for Chad Robert WOODS. It is further alleged that the suspect failed to comply with a Probation Order between October 23rd 2017 and December 19th 2017 and as such a Warrant of Arrest for Fail to Comply with a Probation Order has also been issued for Chad Robert WOODS.

Attempts have been made by Police to locate the suspect which have met with negative results
