The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in solving;
Mischief
On June 15th, 2023, a male was captured on surveillance parking and exiting his vehicle in the 400 block
of Queens Avenue. The male proceeded to walk to a property fence and tore down a PRIDE flag,
stomped on it and then proceeded to throw it in the garbage. The male was driving an older model Ford
Fusion with the front bumper missing and the block heater cord sticking out from under hood.

CRIME OF THE WEEK for June 9th, 2023
The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a;
Robbery
On June 1st, 2023, at approximately 3:30 P.M. a male and female entered a business located in the 100
block of 5 th Street. The male and female approached a customer and asked for money which he declined.
The female and a male followed the victim out of the business and jumped him, stealing his money and
product from he purchased from the business. The suspect’s pictures were captured on video
surveillance that are attached to this release.

Theft
On May 29th, 2023, at approximately 4:30 P.M. a male and female entered a business located in the 100
of Victoria Avenue East. The male and female proceeded to the fragrance section of the store where
they stole over $4000 in fragrances. The male and female are believed to be travelling across Canada
committing similar thefts. The suspects were captured on video surveillance that is attached to this
release.

On May 10th, 2023, a male entered a business located in the 900 block of Victoria Ave. Once
inside the male stole items and walked out of the business without paying for the merchandise.

The Brandon Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating this
person who is:
“WANTED BY POLICE”
Matthew BOUTILIER
FOR
Assault with a Weapon, Forcible Confinement, Unlawful in a Dwelling House &; Party to the Offence of Sexual Assault
On April 29th, 2023, Matthew BOUTILIER entered his ex girlfriends residence without her
permission and assaulted her with a pair of scissors. While in the residence, a male unknown to
police arrived and BOUTILIER directed him to sexually assault his ex girlfriend. Police have
been unable to locate and arrest BOUTILIER for his involvement. A warrant of arrest has been
issued for Matthew Micheal BOUTILIER as his whereabouts are unknown at this time.
